Grant schemes - preparation of conservation area regeneration bids
We can help develop bids for PSiCA or Townscape Heritage Initiatives in conjunction with your staff. These can include both First Round & Second Round THI applications. All grant schemes require a sustainable programme of work. We have widespread experience to identify the main obstacles and provide realistic targets.

We can undertake the following:

  • Advise on Public Realm works
  • Assess “Conservation Deficit”
  • Work with architects & structural engineers on structural surveys
  • Produce a realistic five-year programme
  • Undertake widespread public consultation
  • Arrange training in conservation skills
  • Prepare promotional material

Condition audits
We undertake condition audits of historic areas on behalf of Local Planning Authorities. This could form part of a bid for a Townscape Heritage Initiative or for other sources of funding. For example, Derwent Valley World Heritage Site – survey & condition audit of structures (2005).
